Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a garment or item. A squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh with ink, the reverse stroke then causes the screen to flood and get ready for the next print.

Screen printing is generally the most cost effective option for printing on garments. Silkscreen pricing is per location and per color. This is a very durable process and can be printed on most fabrics. Its only real limitation is that if you have a multi-color design and a low volumn of shirts its not very cost effective.

There are many shops that do silkscreen so why choose InkToAnything.com. Quality and consistancy are th reasons. Let me explain, We have designers that work in the graphics industry preping your designs for print. You might think, well so does everyone. Most silkscreen companies use a person that is only focused on breaking your image into seperations not acutally looking at the qualty of the art and how its to be used. We examine every file and if we don't think the output will meet our/your silkscreen standards we call you a talk about it before we print.

Next we used a digital screen maker which puts us in a very small group of shops in the US with this technology. This system makes first generation screens to give you the best output possible. And instead of waiting overnight to make your screen we can make screens in just a few minutes.

Finally we have a few special things that are as somewhat limited/new in the industry. In fact many of the big production silkscreen shops across the us don't use these techniques. At InkToAnything.com we not only have a lower temp ink to ensure less bleed and less stress on the garment but we cure the ink with hot air as oppose to direct heat. This gives you a better finish with less chance of garment damage. Our silkscreen system allows for PMS color matching that is very close to the color your requesting.

Our silkscreen is alwasy printed with the garment in mind, we don't want to do any damage but at the same time we give the ink a full cure, thats why we use these techniques.
